Once again its been a warm day with lots of sun but also some clouds it wouldn’t be a British summer without the clouds. Thankfully being in Yorkshire this didn’t stop the audience from coming out with there chairs and picnics to come and listen to a great and varied programme, it even involved audience participation of which they all joined in with.
This is the bands last park job of 2019 and we must say we have enjoyed entertaining you all this year wherever you have seen or heard us outdoors this year from Wetherby to Saddleworth via Pudsey its been a joy.
We have also said farewell to Mikey Foley Hall the bands principal cornet player who’s last job was today and now looks forward to a bright future at the Birmingham Conservatoire.
Also our Solo Baritone player Christopher Kaye who has moved on to pastures new, taking the vacant Solo Baritone seat at the Lindley Band.
The band would like to thank both players for all there and work and commitment during there time with us and wish them all the best for the future.
